This off-season has been an intriguing one for Les Miles. His predecessor, and the man credited for much of LSU's recent success, was hired at rival Alabama. The past six months have been riddled with off-season player arrests. And he hasn't made it any easier on himself, issuing public criticisms of two traditional powerhouses - Alabama, and now, the mighty USC Trojans.
Miles un-prompted call-out of USC was as following:
"I would like nothing better than to play USC for the [national] title. I can tell you this, that they have a much easier road to travel. They're going to play real knockdown drag-outs with UCLA and Washington, Cal-Berkeley, Stanford -- some real juggernauts -- and they're going to end up, it would be my guess, in some position so if they win a game or two, that they'll end up in the title [game].
"I would like that path for us. I think the SEC provides much stiffer competition."
Well, one rabid USC fan has taken offense.
Calvin Broadus, aka "Snoop Doggy Dogg," came on a California radio stations this morning and blasted the outspoken LSU coach over what he described as "bitch-ass" comments. Snoop Dogg, the world-famous rapper and publicly avid USC fan, goes on a laid-back tirade against Miles - criticizing the coach on everything from his timing, his knack for calling inappropriate timeouts, even the size of his head.
Hilarious. Did Snoop really record this?

Also, sorry to those offended by the language. I grew up listening to "Doggystyle," so that's pretty much what I was aiming for.
